Pensacola, Fla. (July 30, 2025) – Lakeview Center has named Shannon Spann, LCSW, as the new director of Central Access. With more than a decade of experience in behavioral health and a strong record of leadership in child and family services, Spann will oversee a vital program that connects individuals and families to the mental health services they need most.
The Central Access Program at Lakeview Center offers a streamlined entry point for adults and children seeking behavioral health support. Through comprehensive clinical screenings, the program evaluates individual needs and matches clients with appropriate services, including individual, family and group counseling, psychiatry and specialized treatment programs.
Spann most recently served as specialized foster care clinical manager at Lakeview Center, where she provided administrative and clinical supervision to a multidisciplinary team. Her career also includes roles as Quality and Training Manager and Therapist II within the Specialized Foster Care program, where she demonstrated a deep commitment to ensuring high-quality, trauma-informed care for vulnerable youth.
Spann holds a Master of Social Work from the University of West Florida and is a licensed clinical social worker and certified nonviolent crisis intervention instructor. Her collaborative approach and passion for advocacy will help expand Lakeview Center’s reach and impact in the community.
