Substance misuse and mental health issues can potentially overlap into child abuse, abandonment and neglect. That’s where our organization can help. Child welfare teams at FamiliesFirst Network can help ensure the safety of children. Behavioral health care teams at Lakeview Center can work with parents on the recovery process. FamiliesFirst Network also serves foster children with special needs, which are addressed by our specialized behavioral health care teams. Coupling behavioral health services with child welfare support allows our teams to lean on each other as we develop innovative solutions that serve Gulf Coast families. We also help persons with disabilities who are seeking meaningful work and independence. For those who need it, Global Connections to Employment provides job opportunities across a diverse pool of business lines, from facilities maintenance to food services and commercial businesses to health care environments.
Because of LifeView Group, people with mental illnesses and substance use disorders can get the treatments they need, people with disabilities can find employment, and children who have experienced abuse or neglect can know safety and stability.

Lakeview Center serves adults and children with mental illnesses, drug and alcohol dependencies and intellectual disabilities. With multiple programs across Northwest Florida, our services range from residential treatment to outpatient counseling, psychiatry, trauma care, treatments for substance misuse and 24/7 support for those with serious mental illnesses.
FamiliesFirst Network provides case management, adoptive parent recruitment and specialized help for teens and young adults who are exiting the foster care system. Child welfare services are provided in Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa and Walton counties. Our specialized team is passionate about helping abused and neglected children and their families. We collaborate with partners throughout the state, in Northwest Florida’s four-county area and within our faith-based communities to ensure the safety and well-being of children.
Global Connections to Employment (GCE) is a nationwide team providing jobs for people with significant disabilities, including our war-wounded veterans. We empower our team members and help match them to fulfilling careers, from custodial services to facilities maintenance and food services, plus other business lines in between. Working with contractors at military bases, commercial businesses and other community settings, GCE is one of the country’s largest employers of people with disabilities under the AbilityOne program.
