Landrum 5K raises $18,000 benefiting Lakeview Center

Pensacola, Fla. (Mar. 2, 2026) – Landrum has presented $18,000 to Lakeview Center, representing proceeds from the most recent Landrum 5K Run/Walk held in October of 2025. The growing annual event continues to strengthen community awareness of mental health needs while supporting life‑changing behavioral health services across Northwest Florida.

“Every day, about 50 new clients reach out to Lakeview Center seeking help,” said Allison Hill, CEO of LifeView Group, Lakeview Center’s parent company. “The generosity of Landrum and our event sponsors allows us to continue providing comprehensive, compassionate care to thousands of families across Northwest Florida.”

Last year, Lakeview Center served more than 29,000 children and adults seeking support for mental illnesses, substance misuse and intellectual disabilities. With demand continuing to grow, community partnerships like Landrum’s have become an essential part of expanding access to care.

“Our 5K keeps building momentum, and we’re excited to see the increasing enthusiasm for mental health awareness with the growth we’re seeing from year to year,” said Britt Landrum, III, CEO of Landrum.

Event sponsors included:

  • Platinum: Clark Partington Attorneys at Law; Jewelers Trade Shop; Navy Federal Credit Union; PMA Group and Waverly Advisors
  • Gold: Centennial Bank; Florida Blue; Ortiz Legal; Saltmarsh, Cleaveland & Gund; Shumaker; Starnes Davis Florie LLP; Synovus; Truist; Trustmark; USI Insurance Services; and Woodlands Medical Specialists
  • Silver: Eglin Federal Credit Union; FS Advisors; Regions; and Warren Averett CPAs & Advisors.
  • Bronze: Naval Aviation Museum Foundation

The Landrum 5K highlights the proven link between physical activity and mental well‑being. According to the National Institutes of Health, regular exercise can reduce anxiety and depression, improve mood and boost cognitive function—benefits that can be achieved with as little as 30 minutes of moderate activity several times a week.

Lakeview Center offers more than 60 programs across Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa and Walton counties, including outpatient counseling, psychiatric care, children’s services, inpatient treatment, substance misuse treatment and 24/7 crisis support. The next Landrum 5K Run/Walk will take place on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2026, beginning at 8 a.m. at the Landrum office, 219 E. Garden Street in downtown Pensacola.
