Brightening the holidays through Operation Santa

Community Partner Spotlight: Jewelers Trade Shop

Each year during the Christmas season, Jewelers Trade Shop is a major supporter of Operation Santa, a FamiliesFirst Network initiative that ensures children who have experienced abuse or neglect experience the magic of Christmas.

Jewelers Trade Shop’s support helps ensure these children experience hope and cheer during a season that can otherwise feel uncertain.

Jewelers Trade Shop has always had a soft spot for kids in need in the community,” said Sarah Davis, gemologist at Jewelers Trade Shop. “Operation Santa allowed us to be a small part of making someone’s day a little bit better, especially around the holiday time.”

FamiliesFirst Network provides case management and child protective services for children across Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa and Walton counties. Each year, the organization serves 2,700 children across Northwest Florida, including 750+ families with specialized in‑home prevention services to keep children safely with their parents.

Supporting mental health through the Landrum 5K

Beyond the holidays, Jewelers Trade Shop is also a consistent supporter of the Landrum 5K, which benefits Lakeview Center, Northwest Florida’s most comprehensive mental health care provider.

Every day, 50 new clients seek treatment at Lakeview Center. Lakeview Center provides comprehensive care to all, regardless of ability to pay. Last year, Lakeview Center provided $5 million in charity care.

Support from long-time community partners like Jewelers Trade Shop helps Lakeview Center meet this urgent, growing need.
