Teresa Caldwell, director of health information management, LifeView Group

Teresa Caldwell

Teresa Caldwell has been named Team Member of the Quarter for LifeView Group!

Teresa is known for helping others with respect and kindness, never hesitating to step in to support her teammates. During audits, her sharp attention to detail helps showcase our work.

Teresa’s thoughtful spirit extends beyond daily tasks, including thoughtful gestures to recognize her coworkers.

Antonello Bucci, who nominated her, wrote: “To say that she goes ‘above and beyond’ is to minimize her efforts. She is an asset to the agency! The word ‘settle’ is not in her vocabulary. She is sharp and demonstrates knowledge beyond her realm. She demonstrates kindness to all she serves and treats others with dignity.”

Congratulations, Teresa!

Community Action Team (CAT) members Matthew Harris, Dawn Stewart and Linzy Plessel have been named Lakeview Center’s Team Members of the Quarter for their extraordinary compassion, teamwork and unwavering commitment to the families they serve.

Nominated by their managers, Patti Hyde and Hailey Vascik, the trio was recognized for going far beyond their roles while supporting a local family who experienced a tragic loss after a home fire. Together, Matthew, Dawn and Linzy provided daily school transportation, offered all‑day support, helped with cleaning, meals, gift‑giving and spent more than 12 hours assisting the family in safely relocating. Their leaders, Patti Hyde and Hailey Vascik, shared, “They truly are the embodiment of Lakeview values and what the CAT team was designed to do.”

Dawn Stewart volunteers with Valerie’s House, helps on additional cases, creates and facilitates groups for single mothers and regularly goes above and beyond to meet client needs. Matthew Harris, a new father and active community member, is recognized for bringing creativity and heart to his work—whether responding to crises, supporting families late at night, or finding meaningful ways to help children process emotions. Linzy Plessel, who joined the CAT team in November, quickly immersed herself in some of the team’s most complex cases, assisting with groups, transportation and crisis support while balancing her continued education.

All three consistently volunteer outside normal working hours, attend funerals and celebrations, respond to crisis calls and collaborate with community partners to ensure families receive comprehensive care. Their leaders summed it up best: “Each of these team members goes above and beyond—personally and professionally—every single day. Congratulations to Matthew, Dawn and Linzy!

Brian Coleman, young adult services child welfare case manager, FamiliesFirst Network

Brian Coleman

Brian Coleman has been named FamiliesFirst Network’s Team Member of the Quarter!

Brian has gone above and beyond by helping young adults aging out of foster care personalize and furnish their homes, even going to estate sales, yard sales and furniture stores, while advocating for donations to assist youth in care. Outside of work, Brian continues to serve his community as a youth sports coach, mentor and active fraternity board member.

Brandon Fernbach, who nominated Brian, wrote: “Brian treats all of his people served with class, professionalism and respect. Brian is always willing to lend a helping hand to his own unit and can often be found volunteering or offering assistance to other units around his workspace. He has taken on the role of leader as well as morale booster. He lives by our values, takes care of those around him and uplifts people. He never settles for ‘simply good enough.’ He strives to achieve excellence and help others to achieve goals that they may have never even seen as possible.”

Congratulations, Brian!

Manuel Garcia Gordo, shift leader at Barksdale Air Force Base, Global Connections to Employment

Manuel Garcia Gardo and Rodney Ross
Manuel Garcia Gordo and Rodney Ross Jr.

As a shift leader for our GCE food service contract at Barksdale Air Force Base in Bossier City, La., Manuel supports staffing and food service operations to ensure that military personnel on base receive high-quality meals and service.

“Manuel has been a consistent and invaluable asset to the team, regularly going above and beyond expectations,” said Rodney Ross Jr., Manuel’s manager. “His proactive communication ensures all operational needs are met efficiently, and his responsiveness to any gaps in staffing or workflow has had a direct impact on maintaining smooth operations. Whether it’s stepping in to assist food service workers when needed or coordinating with the military’s executive chef to ensure their needs are met promptly, Manuel shows a deep commitment to the success of the team and the mission.”

For more than 10 years, Manuel has consistently shown up for his fellow team members, whether they need a ride to work or help on the line—all while being hard of hearing. He also speaks three languages, plus sign language, further enhancing his ability to connect with both team members and clients.

“His dedication to delivering exceptional service and supporting the team exemplifies our mission in action. He does not hesitate to take initiative, even in situations outside of his immediate duties, to ensure both coworkers and clients receive the attention and care they need. He lives out the organization’s values consistently, with integrity and the pride he has in his work day in and day out,” shared Rodney.

Congratulations, Manuel!
