In honor of Veterans Day, LifeView Group’s Veterans Employee Resource Group nominated a select group of team members to be featured in a special spotlight series celebrating the veterans who strengthen our organization.

For Payroll Manager Kenneth Johnson, the values of service, teamwork and attention to detail learned in the military remain part of his daily work.

Kenneth served in the U.S. Navy from 1994 to 1998 as a gas turbine systems Technician. He was stationed aboard the USS Normandy (CG-60), homeported in Norfolk, Virginia, and completed deployments to the Bosnian coast and the Persian Gulf. Military service was a family tradition for Kenneth. His great-grandfather, grandfather and both parents served in the U.S. Army or Navy, inspiring him from an early age to pursue military service himself.

Kenneth credits the military with teaching him attention to detail, a skill that has helped him throughout his civilian career, including his work as a firefighter, EMT and now payroll professional.

His military experience also reinforced the importance of teamwork.

“The military helped me value teamwork and taught that every member is important regardless of their role,” Kenneth shared. That perspective is especially fitting for someone whose work supports team members across the organization, often behind-the-scenes but essential to daily operations.

Kenneth has become known as a trusted resource within Payroll. When he was recognized as LifeView Group’s Team Member of the Quarter in December 2025, colleagues praised his adaptability, technical expertise and willingness to help others, particularly during the organization’s Oracle implementation. Today, he continues to play a key role in payroll operations and major system initiatives, bringing the same precision, collaboration and steady leadership that have defined his career.
