Pensacola, Fla. (December 14, 2023) – Dustin Perry director of Lakeview Center Residential Services has been with Lakeview Center since 2006. Perry, a licensed clinical social worker, will now oversee all adult and children’s residential programs, as well as Lakeview Center’s autism care program.

Over the years, Perry has served in clinical and leadership positions, and he frequently present to the community on behavioral health topics. Perry has experience treating children, adolescents and adults. He’s also provided oversight of individual and group therapy, case management and psychiatric treatments.

“Dustin has been a meaningful contributor to Lakeview Center’s mission for almost two decades,” said Shawn Salamida, president of Lakeview Center. “I am confident that his education and work history will lend themselves to success in this position.”

Most recently, Perry served as director of Lakeview Center’s Road to Recovery and Pathway programs. His support and leadership led treatment teams in residential and intensive-outpatient environments to help adults find a path to recovery. He was a liaison for the Drug Court in Escambia County. Other leadership roles include overseeing outpatient services at Avalon Center located in Milton. From 2019 to 2021, Dustin was the director of Medication-Assisted Treatment at Lakeview Center. His experience also includes setting up grant-funded programs and services to help fight the opioid epidemic.

Perry was recognized as a 2023 Rising Star by the Pensacola publication Independent Weekly. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from University of Central Florida and a Master of Social Work from University of West Florida. He is a licensed clinical social worker.
